Born to be a songwriter
Inspired by music in the 1970's, Randi had a chance mentoring session with Kris Kristofferson who advised him to "get personally connected to the lyrics". Randi could tell Kris was speaking from the heart and knew he had the same emotion as Kris.
Growing up in a musical family
Inspired by his mother and being convinced by her to join band in grade school was a pivotal moment in the Perkins family.
