All forms and styles of music are an essential component of the foundation of our lives and Song Of The Plains Foundation seeks to enhance the value of music and creative arts in the lives of people in rural communities as well as people in all walks of life.  Music education and music events are the foundation of community culture and this organization focuses on the critical importance of maintaining and expanding musical education and how it enhances the learning abilities and creativity of all young people in all subjects.  The organization seeks to inspire and reward future generations of those who serve as music and arts educators and mentors.  All participants in the creation of music and arts are winners and this organization supports the non-competitive and positive inspirational element of participation.  It also creates awareness of the value of music in our daily lives, demonstrates the connection between music education and popular music, and strengthens the understanding of maintaining a vibrant and prosperous rural and global music community.
